The Leadership for Character Project (LFC) sponsored by The Kern Foundation and the Superintendent’s Academy is looking for educational leaders to serve as mentors to new and aspiring educational leaders. LFC involves working with educational leaders in Alabama to develop virtue-based character education approaches, especially as related to principals and superintendents, both aspiring and existing. Serving as a mentor requires one meaningful contact tied to program learning outcomes with the mentee weekly, one visit per semester for 3 to 5 semesters, monthly professional development with the LFC team, and may include travel to meet with the mentee and LFC team. Mentors will be compensated. If you have a minimum of three successful years serving in an administrative role, please consider applying for this opportunity. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
